You will be happy to know that apple pie with cannabis is very easy to make, do not worry if you are not an expert in the kitchen, this recipe is very easy to make and the result is simply delicious.

Note:
To prepare this cake, you will need some basic ingredients such as flour, butter, sugar and salt, and of course, our special ingredient: Cannabutter.

American Apple Pie with Cannabis
The American cake recipe is a little more complicated than the Strudel, this cake has 3 steps and we are going to make the base from scratch for those who like to do everything at home!
Ingredients:
Base
- 2 ½ cups flour
- 8 tablespoons of Cannabutter
- 8 tablespoons of regular unsalted butter (you can also replace the butter with more Cannabutter, the cake will be more potent, but 8 tablespoons of each is enough)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼-½ cup of cold water
Filling
- 5 apples, peeled and cored
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon of cider vinegar.
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Base
- Bring the butter and Cannabutter to room temperature for 10-30 minutes to soften.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt and sugar.
- Add the butters and mix well with your hands. You can also use a mixer.
- When the dough is thick and rough, add the water, start with ¼ cup and mix everything well.
- The dough should be lumpy, but consistent when pressed by hand, if not, add 1 tablespoon of water and mix.
- Continue doing this until it is the right consistency, so that the base is flaky.
- Wrap half of the dough in a transparent kitchen film and make a 2 cm thick disk, repeat the process with the rest of the dough.
- At the end you will have 2 discs wrapped in plastic wrap, put them in the refrigerator for at least an hour to harden (the more the better).
Filling
- Cut the apples into slices and put them in a bowl with water.
- Add the lemon juice and let it soak for 10 minutes.
- While the apples are soaking, combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl until you have a uniform dough.
- Remove the apples and put them in the bowl with the dry ingredients, mix well to coat the apples.
Mounting
- Spread one of the dough discs on a baking sheet, to make the base of the pie.
- Fill the base with the apple mixture.
- If you have more butter, cube it well distributed over the apples.
- Take the other disk and spread it over the top of the pie. With the back of a knife, press the edges of the dough together.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Cover the tart with foil to prevent the dough from burning.
- Bake for about 55 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
Serve it hot or let it cool, it’s your choice!
Apple Strudel with Cannabis
This recipe uses store-bought filo pastry to make it easy, a delicious option for those who want to make a dessert with cannabis in a quick way.
Ingredients:
Filling
- 5 apples peeled, cored and cut into small pieces
- 100ml water
- 100g powdered sugar
- 4 tablespoons of Cannabutter
- 3 tablespoons raisins
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 large orange (juice and peel)
- A handful of bread crumbs
Base
- 1 tablespoon unsalted regular butter, melted
- 4 tablespoons Cannabutter, melted
- 4 sheets of store-bought phyllo dough
- Powdered sugar
Instructions:
Filling
- In a small bowl, soak the raisins in the orange juice and zest.
- Cook the apples, Cannabutter, water and sugar over medium heat.
- Cook until the apples are soft but retain their shape, about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove the apple mixture from the heat and add the raisins, juice, cinnamon and breadcrumbs.
- Mix everything well, if you wonder what the bread is for, it is to combine everything together, it is quite important.
- Let it cool while we prepare the base.
Base
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Grease a baking tray with the melted butter.
- Place one of the filo pastry sheets on the tray and glaze it with the Cannabutter, do this with all the sheets, placing them on top of each other – glazing each time.
- Pour the apple mixture in a line down the center of the pastry.
- Roll the pastry into long rolls. Edge side down.
- Use the remaining Cannabutter to glaze the entire strudel.
- Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Check after 10 minutes to make sure it is not browning too quickly. If so, lower the temperature.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
